Re: I Can't See All the Options in Inkscape Document Properties

Deleting your default file while inkscape is not open should reset the windows size and location - at least it used to. Depending on your os that file is found in different locations

Re: Text: Editing slowness

inkscape has a window sometimes called the drawing board, at the center of which is a page and at the top of which is a control bar that contains settings and controls appropriate to the currently chosen tool.

Re: Convert patterns to objects

That is not how Inkscape or SVG handles patterns. If you want to change all the pattern filled area without doing it over, you can go into the xml editor and change those parts of the definition. But you might also be better off using tiled clones and changing the parent in the GUI on canvas, or unl...

Are you setting the background color in document properties? instead, make an opaque rectangle of the color and size you want and put it behind everything.

The interpolate extension only works on paths. Convert your ellipses to paths first

if you mean the pencil tool, you could tell us what development you could like to see in it. Please keep in mind this not a pixel based application so things like texture and softness are not really viable options

Re: How to draw the 2D scheme from the given shadow?

wow it is nice to think that Inkscape might do this in 10 years. After we infiltrate Blender and claim its code for our program. In a word, no. Some part of this would have to be done in either Blender or another 3d modeler or perhaps in Wolfram or another Math program. Inkscape does have some math ...

Re: Vector lines exporting to PDF thicker than .001

Running out if ideas without seeing the file, but here's one last one: import the svg into MSword and save as PDF from it, not from Inkscape. See if that will produce output that your cutter will accept!

Re: Requesting Help for procedure to load plotter driver

Go into Control panel, "Devices and Drivers" find your cutter, look in its properties for info about manufacturer. If you are lucky you can ask Windows to update the driver using whatever it can find on the internet. Don't forget to restart, and watch out for malware if Windows says you ha...

Is anything grouped perhaps? Inkscape has a knife like tool if that would help, since you miss the macromedia freehand knife
If the division command does not work you might try combining your target paths into one path first

Your phone almost certainly does not support transparency in its photo viewer. What are you trying to do on your phone that requires transparency? If you open it in a MS office app on your phone you may see the transparency.

Re: Convert marker to object

you have to select the path first before stroke to path, make sure it is not in a group. it will be converted into a group. it may be useful to copy the path first so you can reinstate a stroked path and delete the filled path, keeping the markers. Note that the markers will be objects and no longer...

Re: stitch sub-path: undoc features? bugs? likely to change?

It is more complicated than it seems, but you can be fairly sure it's not going away. It's working this way because each segment is a sub path, not a path. When you bend them on screen they overlap each other creating a large filled path that self intersects. in the fill dialog you can choose one of...
