Copy from one document and paste to another will make it crash very often on Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit.
0.47 prerelease, It's also now available for 64 bit GNU/Linux.

If I open two different document with double click from a file manager I can't do cut and paste.
But if I open the second document "from the first document" (File/Open....for example) I can do cut and paste, on my machine.

Just 32 bit on GNU/Linux so far. I will try to install 32 bit on my Vista 64 Bit. Wasn't 32 bit yesterday.

Rough sketch

I have always done my sketches in InkScape with lines. Now I tried to do it rough and fast with big color surfaces. And it feel right. I will use this technique as a preparation also for bitmap illustration. http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs097.snc1/5176_109200272655_681052655_2764169_...

Thanks.
I found it. InkScape saved the file in English "New document", not in Swedish "Nytt dokument" like it said in the message.

Re: A way to put my inkscape SVG's into Flash CS3?

Try EPS, I have used EPS from Adobe Illustrator to flash many times, and from InkScape to Adobe Illustrator (export every layer as separate EPS file to import it to separate layer in Adobe Illustrator) InkScapes layer effect can't other program read in any format, is my experience. /Tommy Hjalmarsson

It is in Swedish, but the number is on the same place.
No problem to export.

Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit/Inkscape 0,46

Give the export numbers you use, and OS, and 32 or 64 bit, and the version on Inkscape.

Nice work. You use the same opening on the ellipse in the bottom, the surface of the fluid and on the top or the glass. Lock at the picture and see if you agree with my proposition. The surface of the fluid in that case should have a ellipse opening somewhere between top and bottom, but closer to the...

Re: A frog in brass

In case you didn't spot it, there's a layers palette ( Shift + Ctrl + L ) which lets you create and move around layers. Yes I know, but it much easier to make (Understand)sublayer in the XLM editor. I use InkScape with Swedish language and the translation is no god, It's not the right "program...
