Re: Raito's cars gallery

Let me guess... You like cars? ^^ Impressive work, seems like a lot of hours you spend on those, really nice tracing, the lines are very smooth. I really like the bit more comic like illustration of Ford Ka WRC, with its more flat colors, it does not try be as realistic as the other ones, but I thin...

Re: Jellyfish Dessert

Hey there haiflosse! Really nice job, this time you managed to use the animated gif comic in a very clever way. Actually, I really liked your idea when I saw the last to comic strips, but in this one, you can really see the potential of that kind of comic. I don't know any other comics, that are ani...

Re: Dillerkind's image pool

Oh she is cute! The perspective from above is really cool, good job on that. The drawing is great as always. I actually miss the eyebrowof her right eye. It also feels a bit strange, that her pigtail is so far in the front, not quite sure, maybe you should try to push it a bit more to the back for a...

Re: Tablet Icon for a Logo

Hey Mike, welcome to the forum! Really neat design, I like it a lot. The colors are fitting well together and the graphic has a clean and professional touch. Still, I think there is a lot of space for improvement: - The tablet in the icon looks like a graphic tablet, not like an iPad or android tabl...

Re: Export to bitmap without interpolation ?

Hey There! This is actually not the right subforum you're posting, but whatever. I made a file, just as you described it, and also added a line, for showing that there is actually no interpolation, if it has the right size and position. Here's the svg: http://openclipart.org/detail/189168/small-pixe...

Very clean logo! Maybe a bit too many effects, but that of course also depends on the field of usage :)

Wow looks really nice, the motion in this picture is perfectly captured! I think a flat shading would look rather good.

Re: Rock concert poster

I like the second version way better! A few more things to consider: Pdf sounds like a good idea, but don't forget to convert the fonts into paths (is an option when saving as a pdf) The colormanagement for print in Inkscape is sadly not very good, you will probably have a really hard time, creating...

Hey there,

I like the colors you use. Your icons did not get very inventive, but I guess that's good in most cases. I wrote down thoughts about some of them:

Please keep on posting changes, I'm interested where this project will get in the end.

That's quite different to what we saw from you lately, I can only tell that it's from you because of the background. I've seen that you are also freaking awesome at pixeling, but I like the idea to try to catch the old graphic spirits with new techniques. So first what I like: - The color palette. T...

Wow that is truly amazing! She for sure is one of your more innocent looking girls ;) The color composition got maybe a bit too yellow greenish, but it fits the mood of the drawing rather well! Also the level of detail and overall quality is really high. I just tried to find something I didn't like,...

Mobile Game - first graphics

Hey there! I decided to make a mobile game with two friends. I finished the graphics for the three characters: http://i.imgur.com/7ZplttK.png One of my concerns for the game is that we will have huge problems with animations, because nobody has done that before. Yesterday I harvested the Internet fo...

Yeah I changed the arm a bit after I created the overall outline, but I think it's not that bad. Yes he should be a lefty, it should be a mixture of myself, guybrush threepwood (https://d15uu3l1sro2ln.cloudfront.net/w ... 85x585.jpg) and a custom style. :)

Re: New inkscape extension: Export PDF in CMYK and TIFF in C

Hello everybody! Great thread, thnaks for all the information and translation. I'm working right now a lot with Inksape for printing and I thought it would be a good idea to get a little more professional by creating pdfs with CMYK. I installed Output Pro on Xubuntu 13.04 64 bit and it works. As ric...

This is a very impressive piece of work! I especially like the skin, looks very natural and the spotlights and shading give her body a very vivid look. I LOVE how distinctive your style is, once again great work! Only thing that looks a bit strange to me, is the coloring of her left knee, looks a bit like she's got a plate or something on it, not really like a natural knee. I for myself am not offended at all by the nudity in your pictures, but of ...

You are still a Noob? For that you're really fast at creating content. ^^ I like the first Logo with the tree and the green dot. I'm actually working in a real estate Company for 10 hours a week. When I came there, I just said, I will use Inkscape and Gimp and they where happy.
