Best way to work with OOo files?

Which is the best format to use when exporting from Open Office and importing to Inkscape? I've had the best luck so far with PDF, though the support isn't 100%. Open Office's SVG export is crap, and Inkscape doesn't like the EMF files that OOo creates.

Here's what the chart looks like in OOo Draw (click on the image to see a larger view):
