Yeah well, it's really tough competition. I doubt there are many people out there who'd stand an actual chance against him :D

Took longer than I had imagined in the beginning. Cropped preview, full image shows skin and underwear very prominently, no full nudity though.

Here's my latest piece. A few variants are in my current blog post. Also, I added this one and a bunch of other images to my RedBubble store. Link also in the post.

Oh wow, this has been the longest Inkscape break I've ever taken. Over a month without a new pic. Time to change this :)

Hmm, is this just "normal view <-> outline view" or any two display modes? To be honest, I rarely use outline mode while I'm working on something. However I do switch between normal and no-filters mode a lot once I reach a point where performance gets worse, i.e. in the later stages, towards finishing a drawing. Interesting still, thanks for the link!

And here's a little something I finished today. Consists of exactly 300 objects, not counting the mirrored clone and the colored rectangle in the back :)

I haven't asked, although I had that same question, too. Maybe you want to ask Jabier? https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_ ... HykfgXfbHS

I didn't even know this chat existed. But I think I'll wait until the next release and see for myself. It's not such a pressing matter that it would be causing me sleepless nights ;) (and I'd probably have to register in order to log into the chat)

There will be a test release published 'soon'. I think it would be interesting to try things out before it's released - that way, you get your say in it :)

Whatever "soon" means :) I don't need a say in the matter. Jabier and everybody else know what they're doing and to be honest, I wouldn't really know how to test this specific feature extensively. Only that "soon" is making me slightly excited now. Ah well, gotta calm down and be patient :D

Testing is also a form of helping - issues that you encounter may be the same ones others find annoying, or you might find bugs. As an experienced user, you will more easily be able to differentiate bugs from non-bugs, so any testing (or playing around) will be quite useful. And yes, it's exciting :) Currently, they have removed the --shell mode for the command line. And Jabier is working on improving rendering speed by using multithreading.
