Snap-ring removal diagram (for Wikipedia!)

Postby seans_potato_biz » Tue Apr 08, 2008 3:34 am

I made this a few months ago for a Wikipedia article. It's supposed to instruct how to remove a snap-ring from a rear bicycle hub, enabling removal of the sprocket. I had a lot of trouble working out how to remove it from my bicycle and so I wanted to save other people the trouble (I tried to get a well-known webmaster to put it onto his famous-within-the-online-cycling-world website, since he advised me on what to do but unfortunately he passed away a short while after I made it).

It took me quite some time and I did it before I'd found the extrude tool!

I cannot discern why the image wont display. Size? http://www.petaimg.com/uploads/1207598245.svg

Nice drafting.

You need to use [svg]http://svg_url[/svg] to display an SVG file since most web browsers don't support displaying SVG files with IMG HTML tags.

What is the easiest way to track your edits on wikipedia? I know of the history pages and the watchlist however tracking edits with those is very cumbersome. Is there any kind of 3rd party source (software bot, etc.) that can more easily track my edits. For example: If I edit a page and add something and someone removes it 2 weeks later. How can I know without searching all of the history of the pages I edited? An auto notification of some sort, not necessarily from the wikipedia site, would be perfect! Not sure if that exists though.
